Challenge

Turning every campaign idea into a waiting game

Teamonk is an Indian D2C wellness brand and specialty tea venture offering 100% pure and natural teas across Black, Green, Oolong, White, Herbal, Wellness, and Functional Tea categories. Founded in 2016, Teamonk sources handpicked tea leaves directly from premium plantations across Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiris, and Arunachal Pradesh. Marketing runs through a team of one: Akanksha, the company’s marketing manager, is responsible for campaign planning, social media, and creative output across every product line.

Until recently, doing that job meant managing a roster of external agencies. Campaign planning, content creation, social media management, and creative execution each ran through an outside partner. The process was slow and expensive, and Teamonk had limited control over it. A campaign idea went through multiple rounds of research, review, and revision before it was ready to publish. By the time the final creative came back, the trend or seasonal moment it was built for could already be losing momentum. In a category where wellness conversations move weekly, that lag had a real cost.

The direct cost was easier to measure. Teamonk was paying approximately ₹2 lakh every month for marketing and creative support, and still spending internal time managing the agencies doing the work. The company was paying twice, once in fees and once in coordination.

Solution

Bringing trend research and creative production into one place

Pomo changed how Akanksha approaches marketing execution. Instead of waiting for agencies to surface ideas, she starts each day with Pomo’s digest and works from trend signal to published creative inside one product.

  1. Trend research in minutes

The daily digest surfaces relevant wellness trends, competitor activity, emerging customer interests, and campaign opportunities aligned to Teamonk’s products. Scanning it takes minutes, and it replaces research that used to arrive through agency decks on agency timelines.

  2. Creative production without the handoff

Pomo turns those signals into campaign concepts, social captions, Facebook Story assets, branded creatives, and product visuals. Work that used to require multiple agency iterations now happens directly inside Pomo, while the moment it was built for is still live.

  3. Review and measurement before publishing

Akanksha reviews copy and visuals, benchmarks against competitors, and tracks overall effectiveness in the same place. Nothing ships until she has seen it, which gives Teamonk more control over creative output than it had when the work sat with outside partners.

Results

Lower costs and more control for a team of one

Teamonk now saves approximately ₹2 lakh every month on marketing and creative support. That figure is the previous agency spend, and it comes off the budget while the volume of campaign work stays the same.

The workflow gains reach further than the invoice. A single marketing executive can research trends, benchmark competitors, identify new opportunities, generate campaign ideas, create branded assets, review copy and visuals, and track overall effectiveness before publishing. Teamonk depends less on external agencies and keeps control of its creative output and campaign performance in house.

The change Akanksha feels most is time. She spends less of the week coordinating external partners and more of it moving on the ideas that matter. Campaigns tied to a trend or a seasonal moment can now go live while the moment is still worth catching.

“This has improved our time and resource efficiency while reducing marketing costs.”
